Our Programs

The Mosaic Learning Center (MLC) is a tutorial and mentorship program that provides a wholesome Christian environment to help children grow and develop into mature Christian individuals.  The MLC staff and tutors come from varied racial, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.  MLC’s educational program is multi-faceted to meet the complex educational needs of families in our community.  MLC limits enrollment to 25 students – five students in each grade from grades one to five.  This allows MLC to offer a tutor-student ratio one-to-five.  In each MLC classroom, we provide:

• Tutoring five days each week, with emphasis on improving English, reading, spelling, penmanship and math.

• Homework help, with tutors guiding students in completing school assignments successfully.

• Mentorship offered by individuals, who demonstrate by personal example, the value of good character, moral strength, and a positive outlook on life. 

• Workshops that provide practical information and skills that address the concerns and needs of today’s parents.
