About Us : Our Beliefs

We believe that…

The Bible is God's Holy Word

The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings. It is the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and is the divine and final authority for Christian faith and practice (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21).

God is One in Three Persons

God is One, the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:18-19; Mk. 12:29).

Jesus Christ is God

Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of God the Father, and is now our High Priest and Advocate (Lk. 1:26-31; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; Heb 4:15-16; 1 Jn 2:1-2).

The Holy Spirit Plays a Vital Role in the Life of a Believer

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, seal them in the faith, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service (Jn 16:8; Tit. 3:5; Eph 1;13; 1 Cor. 6:19; Jn. 16:13; Acts 1:8; 2 Pet. 1:3).

Man is a Sinner and in Need of Salvation

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Gen. 1:26, 6:5; Rom. 3:10-19; Jn. 3:7; Tit. 3:5-6).

Accepting the Gift of Jesus Christ Through Faith is the Only Means of Salvation

The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection provide the only means for justification and salvation for all who believe. Those who accept this gift of Jesus Christ through faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God (Rom. 5:8; 2 Cor. 5:21; Jn 1;12-13).

Christ's Return for the Church is Imminent

Jesus will come again as He has promised to receive His bride, the Church. This "blessed hope" has a vital bearing on the personal holiness of the believer and the mission of the church in reaching the lost for Christ (Jn. 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:51-53; 1 Thess. 4:15-17; Tit. 2:13; 1 Pet. 1:16; Matt 28:19-20).
